Today is a pretty ruff day in Las Lenas. Last night my roommates got themselves all jacked up to go straight-line a very technical 50 degree chute off the back side of the Marte. I was hoping to get it on film and share it with you guys but in true Las Lenas style the resort was unable to pull their act together this morning and get the Marte chair open even though it is a brilliant day with no wind. On a much sadder note, a good friend of ours and an UnofficialAndes contributor has been kicked out of Las Lenas from the rest of the season. Not just off the mountain but out of the town.
Both the town and the mountain are privately owned by the same people. So if you piss off the wrong person or do a foolish thing they have the right to not just take your pass away but literly kick you out of town. Joe is a great guy who did nothing more then say the wrong thing to the wrong guy on the wrong night. (No one really knows the details but we think the mountain manager asked him to “keep it a quiet night” as he walked into a party to which Joe said something like “Who the F@#$ are you) 24 hours later and he is on the next bus out of town. We are going to miss you Joe. See you in Jackson this winter! YOU THE MAN.

by the skin of my teeth, still here! cheers for your support Timbo, and was good getting smashed again last night with you! when this storm breaks on thurs lets go shred. i paid my debt to society!
