First Run in Portillo

Today I woke up to clear skies and a good foot of fresh snow. After two runs I had my bearings on the resort and headed up the Roca Jack (A crazy 5 person puma lift). On my secant ride a ski patroller named Edwardo slid up next to me on the puma. On the way up he gave me a wink and a head nod to our left where there was a large closed sign. I instantly knew that he was going to open it and that I should follow. When we got to the end of the traverse he dropped the rope and let me dive in first. Needless to say it was one of the greatest runs of my life. I spent the next two hours following him around as he opened terrain. What a Day!

You bastard. Just wait though, Thursday (fingers crossed, knocking on wood) is going to be the best day of the season here. Forecast says no wind, and it will have been snowing on and off since Friday night.
