The first big storm of the South American ski season has hit the Andes. Feet of snow have fallen along the Chilean/Argentinian border filling the resorts with much needed “white gold”. The storm has closed all passes over the Andes, which means I will have an extended stay in Santiago. I hope to make it over the Andes and into Argentina by the weekend.
